The CACFP NPA Board of Directors is putting the finishing touches on the 2010 NPA Conference agenda. Mark your calendars for April 12 -14, 2010 and plan to join your colleagues in beautiful, historic Charleston, South Carolina for three days of learning, networking, and fun. The conference theme is Reflect•Renew•Resolve and the meeting will be held at the Francis Marion Hotel, located in downtown Charleston. Keynote speakers include William Deitz, MD, PhD, Director of Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Sara Benjamin, PhD, MPH, RD, of Duke University Medical Center. We encourage you to take a look at the Conference Agenda for the full
conference.
The conference promises to provide some fun activities, too. Plan to get to the hotel in time for the Food and Wine Pairing session on Sunday evening at 5:00 PM. The first 50 people will sample four wines while they learn the art of wine tasting. Also, consider joining fellow conference attendees for a delicious dinner and a two-hour sunset tour of the Charleston harbor aboard the Schooner Pride Tall Ship Tuesday evening. Reservations are required and an additional fee will apply to this event.
Registration fees are as follows:
CACFP NPA Members - $280
USDA and Non-members - $325 (remainder of the year NPA membership is included)
$25 late fee after March 12th; no refund after March 22nd
